On Tuesday, the Dow fell 116 points, or 0.2%, the S&amp;P 500 dropped 0.7%, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 1.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asian markets also came under pressure. South Korea\u2019s Kospi plunged 5.54%, Japan\u2019s Nikkei 225 fell 2.64%, and China\u2019s CSI 300 declined 2.41%. Australia\u2019s S&amp;P\/ASX 200 slipped 0.39%, while Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng gained 0.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technology stocks remained under pressure as government bond yields climbed to multi-year highs. The U.S. 30-year Treasury yield reached a 19-year high, while Japan\u2019s 10-year yield hit its highest level in three decades. German and French 30-year bond yields also reached multi-year highs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite rising yields, investors remain relatively optimistic about equities, supported by expectations for continued economic growth and strong corporate earnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attention now turns to the Federal Reserve\u2019s latest meeting minutes, due Wednesday afternoon.
